Teens with some previous aviation knowledge or experience should attend AC Advanced. AC Basic is not a requirement. Advanced Camp is limited to 9 campers, minimum age of 14.
* This camp requires a minimum of 6 campers to run.

****Amount of flight hours are not guaranteed due to mechanical or unsafe weather.
*****This is not a residential camp. Each camper needs transportation to and from camp each day.
AC Advanced campers have these learning experiences:
- Basics recap – What makes an airplane fly; Who flies airplanes; Airplane flight controls and instruments
- Learn how to perform a pre-flight inspection
- Advanced information on radio communications
- Learn to fly an airport traffic pattern
- Plan a cross-country flight and make the flight
- Aeronautical charts advanced study
- Simulator time of 4 Hours.
- Flight time of 4 hours.* Flight time is logable.
- Advanced camp 1 includes a day trip to EAAs OSHKOSH on July 26 – the largest airshow of the year!
