About This Event

Join Illinois Aviation Academy for a virtual conversation with a Part 135 pilot who is also a member of the Atlas Cadet Academy. Our guest speaker will share their personal aviation journey, including their flight training experience, participation in the atlas cadet academy, process of building flight experience, and transition into professional Part 135 operations.

During this virtual event, attendees will hear about:

  • The guest speaker’s journey from flight student to professional pilot
  • Their experience as part of the Atlas Cadet Academy
  • How the Atlas Cadet Academy can fit into a aspiring pilot’s training journey
  • What Part 135 operations are
  • The training and experience that helped prepare them for their current role
  • A typical day as a Part 135 pilot
  • Lessons learned while building flight experience
  • Advice for aspiring pilots beginning their training

The conversation will be followed by a live Q&A, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions about flight training, the Atlas Cadet Academy, Part 135 flying, and the guest speaker’s experiences.

Whether you are considering flight training or already working toward your certificates and ratings, this event is an opportunity to hear directly from a professional pilot about the steps that shaped their aviation journey.
